Ginnie Westmoreland

In her 30-year marketing career at the Saint Louis Zoo, Ginnie Westmoreland helped position the Zoo as a top tourist attraction as well as the top local attraction. In 2018 she worked on the ad campaign that helped the Zoo pass the Prop Z sales tax ballot initiative. Prior to the Zoo, she worked on several high-profile national accounts at ad agencies DMB&B, Gardner Advertising and TBWA. In fact, one of the DMB&B accounts under her leadership, Dance St. Louis, won a Clio. Her first post-college job in 1982 was in ad sales at the Webster-Kirkwood Times. In partnership with Advertising Savants, the Zoo was recognized for several Addy awards as well as awards from the American Zoo and Aquarium Association and International Association of Parks and Attractions. She was honored as one of St. Louis Business Journal’s Most Influential Business Women in 2018.
