Rob and Sally Rains pooled their knowledge of sports and media and essentially became a driving force in the world of St. Louis sports media. Between them, the couple produced numerous books, authored hundreds of articles and made appearances on all local sports media. Sally was a co-founder of SportsRadio, a network of 120 stations covering the Cardinals in the 1980’s. Rob teamed with Andy Van Slyke on a radio show. And the couple established STLSportsPage.com in 2012 which features the “Rains on the Cardinals” Podcast and the SportsBlast electronic newsletter. Their long-term web presence caused the site to became the premier independent on-line sports resource in the region.
