American Journalist

1883-1885

The American Journalist was devoted to the interests of newspapers and public writers. The first number appeared in September, 1883, and the last about a year later. It was published by the American Journalist Publishing Company, of which R.P. Yorkston was the president. It was a twenty-four page, three-column monthly, with a colored cover, and contained much valuable information for newspaper men. It was edited by R.P. Yorkston.
