Belleville Sun

1851

In 1851, Edward H. Fleming returned to Belleville from California and started the Belleville Sun. Thirty-six numbers were issued before it was consolidated with the Advocate, with a partnership formed under the name of Fleming and Niles, with Judge Nathaniel Niles as editor and Fleming as foreman.
