Myron was a sportswriter and the last sports editor of the St. Louis Globe-Democrat. He covered everything–high school sports, University of Missouri and University of Illinois football and basketball, the St. Louis Blues, the St. Louis Cardinals (baseball and football) and the soccer Steamers. He also wrote for The Sporting News, the Associated Press, and Anheuser-Busch, where he was the publications manager for the St. Louis Cardinals. For decades, he was active in the local Base Ball Writers Association of America chapter. In 2010, Myron and Greg Marecek co-authored “The Cardinals of Cooperstown.” A native St. Louisan, Myron graduated from University City High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was inducted into the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame.
