Founded by Ellie Chapman, Sun Smith-Foret, Robert Duffy and Jack Lowell. There were several ownership changes in the decade of the 1980s, from a group headed by Suzanne Goell to Ellen Cusumano and Steve Trampe in 1986, then to Jeff Fister in 1989.
