Wendy Wiese got her start in broadcasting in Montgomery City, Missouri, followed by radio stops in Joplin and Springfield. At age 24, Wendy was hired by legendary KMOX general manager Robert Hyland. She co-hosted the station’s highest-rated program “Total Information AM” with Bob Hardy and Bill Wilkerson. Wendy later moved to KTRS radio, where she partnered with Jennifer Blome, hosting “The Jennifer and Wendy Show.” She was also a panelist on “Donnybrook” on Nine PBS since 2003 and is a past Missouri Broadcasters Association award recipient for broadcasting excellence. In 1999, she and her longtime radio partner, the late Media Hall of Famer Bill Wilkerson, were honored by the St. Louis Press Club as “Media Persons of the Year.” Wendy was inducted into the Missouri Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2024.
