Mike Bush

Mike Bush was raised in Chicago, attended the University of Arizona and worked at several
stations before joining KSDK-TV in 1985. He was a sports reporter and anchor, as well as the host of Sports Plus, before joining the news side in 2002. Across his four-decade career, Mike’s honors included many Mid-America Emmy Awards, 18 Edward R. Murrow regional awards, a National Edward R. Murrow award, and honors from the Missouri Broadcasters Association and the Associated Press. In 2012, he was inducted into the National Academy of Arts & Sciences’ Silver Circle. He became well-known for his segment, Making a Difference, which he used to shine a light on people who often fly under the radar while truly making a difference in the community.
