For over 30 years, Bonita Cornute was a fixture on the St. louis television scene, starting at KETC and moving to an on-air reporting position at KTVI. She was host of Post Script on KETC and was later known as the Contact 2 reporter in her position of aiding consumers who were having problems with contactors, repairment and merchants. At the end of her TV career, Bonita was a community affairs reporter, retiring in 2018. She was active, locally and nationally, in the Association of Black Journalists.
