West Virginia native Jay Randolph’s sportscasting career brought him to KMOX Radio in 1966, where he covered Cardinal football and hosted daily sports shows. Two years later, he became the sports director of KSD-TV/KSDK-TV, a post he held until 1988. He and Mike Shannon were long-time television broadcast partners for Cardinal baseball. Throughout his broadcast career Jay made significant contributions to national PGA, LPGA and Senior PGA telecasts along with NFL telecasts and MLB Games of the Week. His career also included coverage of three Olympic Games and 22 years announcing Big 8 basketball. He was elected to the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame, the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame and the KSDK Hall of Fame.
