Born and raised in the St. Louis area, Judy Rankin attained national fame as a professional golfer, moving into the slot of TV commentator for golf matches once she stopped play. Between 1984 and 2018, she was a golf commentator for national broadcasts on ESPN and ABC. In 2010 Judy was he lead analyst on the LPGA Tour broadcasts on the Golf Channel, and in 2024 she became the first woman to be awarded the PGA Lifetime Achievement Award in Journalism.
