A graduate of Northwest High School, Lindenwood University and St. Louis University, Robin Smith’s journalism career spanned from 1974 to 2015. She reported for KTVI-TV and KSDK-TV, but is best known to St. Louisans for her years anchoring and reporting at KMOV-TV. Beyond her work as an anchor, Robin produced features and documentaries and investigative reports. Smith won four Emmy Awards, including Best News Anchor. She was inducted into the Silver Circle of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences in 2002. She has also received an Edward R. Murrow Award for excellence in journalism. Robin was one of the founding members of The Greater St. Louis Association of Black Journalists.
