As the Senior Vice-President for Sales and Marketing for the St. Louis Cardinals, Dan Farrell had to wear many hats. He began his 40-plus-year career with the team in promotions, moving to market development in the sales/marketing area. In his final job Dan oversaw marketing, media rights, team publications and broadcasting, as well as advertising and branding. He was in these various positions when the 2009 All-Star Game came to St. Louis and when the Cardinals made the playoffs and World Series. He oversaw many of these areas during a change in the ownership of the team and the move to Busch Stadium III.
